Lighting up Houston for 31 years

Since 1995, the Grand Menorah at Houston City Hall has stood as a radiant beacon of hope, freedom, and unity across Greater Houston. On Sunday, December 6, 2026—the third night of Chanukah—Houston Chanukah Fest will once again unite every corner of our city in a shared spirit of light, pride, and community, welcoming everyone regardless of background or affiliation.

At 3pm a festival packed with live music, over twenty interactive craft and activity booths, Kosher food, strolling street performers, raffle, and a community toy drive. At 6pm, the Menorah Lighting Ceremony alongside civic leaders, culminating in a spectacular fireworks display illuminating the downtown sky.

This landmark celebration is hosted by Chabad Outreach of Houston, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to providing spiritual guidance, community outreach, and inspiring educational programs that connect Jews across Greater Houston to their shared heritage.
